CBD treatment
we have had good success with our anxious dog. lots of friends having success with older dogs and pain management
Full disclosure: I sell CBD products online. BUT the reason I have this business is that CBD had helped me so much. For me, it’s helped with hip pain, falling asleep, and stress. My dog is pretty young and doesn’t have arthritis, but we use it for her for anti anxiety when we leave the house. Use it for my cat too for same. You should never give THC to a dog or cat. 0.3 percent THC in a CBD product is fine (that’s the legal limit in US), but no more than that. I’ve got a ton of info on my website about CBD for humans and for pets. Click on Information and go to Blog, Infographics, or FAQs (or click on Podcast if that interests you). Also have videos. Google “en-live-en CBD store”.

I've been using CBD oil for about ~6 months personally for sleeping issues, the kind I order has almost 0% THC. It has been working great.
I asked my holistic vet because Nikki recently had a back spasm. She said it's hit or miss and she wouldn't recommend it for Nikki because of the other supplements she's already on. I personally don't see any harm in trying if other supplements don't conflict.
We started a low dose on Sunday giving her about half of the recommended amount each day at lunch. It's too early to tell yet. We have been hit with a huge snow and ice storm so we can't go out walking so until then it will be hard to tell.
