Well, I have worked for Certfied Canine Services for the past 5 years as a kennel attendant and dog handler. Last year during the summer, my bosses asked me to go to National K9 School For Dog Trainers (the place they went for their certification in Master Dog training) and become a professional Master Dog Trainer so they can expand their business.

At Nk9 Hanson and I will be spending 6 weeks learning Retrieval, Service Dog training, basic and advanced obedience, and so much more. After the 6 week program I will have enough knowledge to open my own dog training business and have 13 training certifications!

Interesting! But are you really not supposed to teach basic skills like leash walking, jumping, etc, for nine months? That seems tricky with any breed, and with border collies- if they don't have a job, they'll find mischief to entertain them.

I can enforce rules but can't train commands basically.
