Sending lots of good mojo!
Update his platelets are up from 17 to 35 but his PCV dropped from 17 to 15 so we admitted him and he's getting another transfusion.
They can't say for sure but they said given the time yes. And had a rabies when I adopted him but I havent given him one.
We didn't do the transfusion his blood was reacting with all the donor blood. So he's home on strict crate rest his PCV was 17 there. He's stable. He ate some ground burger last night about 1 cup. We have an appt with the internal medicine Dr in hopes he just needs different meds.
If his levels drop to critical it would either be risk doing the transfusion and hope he doesn't have a reaction to the blood or put him down in which case I prob would let him go while he's still somewhat healthy and happy rather than extremely critical.
Sending loads of mojo and good thoughts.
