    Great White ~ A photograph.

    Aye Mates,

OK, so not quite the shark image ye may have had in mind, but I did catch ye attention. If ye squint or if ye be a duck, those jaws look mighty ominous.

Me gun dog trainee MAC will be hitting the 11 months old mark in two days. This photograph was taken during a training session yesterday afternoon and typifies the hard charging work ethic I have come to expect from MAC. Highly bird driven, MAC shoots off o' the line on the send command with the acceleration of a Cheetah and never slows until reaching the mark. MAC has a firm but soft carry o' birds, characteristics that were both genetic and cultivated through proper HOLD and FORCE FETCH conditioning. MAC had numerous retrieves of upland birds during his rookie hunting season in 2018. MAC is marking birds extremely well and is now doing double marks with grand precision. MAC is steady to wing, shot, and fall whilst upland bird hunting and steady at the line whilst training for hunt tests. We will carry MAC'S work on double mark land retrieves o'er to water whence temperatures warm in a few months into spring. MAC'S lining to marks during drills are straight out and straight back to make classic presentation to hand o' the retrieve. Whilst hunting for upland birds MAC quarters nicely and remains in nice range relative to the gun remaining steady upon the flush and marking the fall with great accuracy consistently demonstrated. Sent to make the retrieve, if the mark or bird is not pinned, MAC will hunt the area of fall relentlessly until the mark or bird is recovered.

MAC has consistently demonstrated all the indicators of high potential that I love to see to see in a young gun dog / hunt test athlete prospect. I plan to campaign MAC throughout 2019 on the hunt test circuit as we continue to advance his skill levels. Keep an eye out, this lad MAC is quite special.

    Cheers,
    THE DOG WHISTLER 🍀🇮🇪🇺🇸

GREAT WHITE ~ MAC is seen scooping a mallard training bumper whilst on the run.
