    Puppy faced

Remember the Lady Gaga song POKER FACE? A co-worker and I used to sing it swapping out "Poker" for "Puppy." "My-my-my-my..."

I've written before about how Stormy is a big cuddler, especially at night in the bed. She often curls right under my arm, or in the nook between my shoulder and head. As she grows, this gets a bit more challenging. Last night, she decided the best way to fit was to flop her head right on top of my head or face. That would last 10 minutes before she changed position, but at least 5 times during the night, I would wake up as her big puppy head clomped down onto my face. At some point, I found myself thinking, I've been puppy faced.

Cue the ear worm: Can't feel my, can't feel my, puppy face (She's got me like nobody.)

    My my my my.

Stormy is shaping up nicely in the bed hogging category.
As a GaGa fan, I am going to borrow your lyrics to Puppy Face so I thank you. I like to listen to Gaga when cleaning the house. Good energy. Macy enjoys a good dancing and singing duet to Born This Way.

Oh, great....my brain went immediately to Bad Romance.

Funny how popular songs inspire us to substitute lines....yours is cute.

    Remember Sugar, Sugar?

Sugar...doot doot doot doot….ah, Honey Honey. You are my candy girl.....

Sugar...doot doot doot doot….ah, Sunnie Sunnie. You are my fuzzy girl...

Dan the man, Dan....Dan the man, Dan, Dan....

My Barley song, to the theme of the '60s spider man cartoon:

    Barley boo, Barley boo
Does he have to take a poo

I can never get it out of my head. Whenever I walk in the door I start singing it loudly.

Thor doesn't have a song I've adjusted to his name, but I do sing "you are my sunshine" to him a lot.

    Puppy faced

Ha! My Diggity song, sung to the tune of Zippity Doo Dah...

Diggity do dog, Diggity ay, my oh my what a wonderful dog...Diggity do dog, Diggity ay, wonderful feeling, wonderful dog....and so on.

He heard this a lot when he was running around like a maniac puppy and I was trying (unsuccessfully) to match his energy level.

Oh and it stuck as one of his many nicknames...Diggity do dog.

I used to sing from THE PAJAMA GAME to Kimber:

There once was a man who loved a woman
She was the one he slew a dragon for
They say that nobody ever loved as much as he
    But me-ee
    I love you more.
