Wish my mojo seemed to be making a better difference...hope you can get him comfortable until his surgery.
So after a trip back to the Emergency vet yesterday- he was given an anti-nausea shot and antibiotics. Full bloodwork came back good. The doctor even took xrays-maybe a possible obstruction? Seemed to be a lot of gas, but she couldnt see anything specific. Today he was a bit better and ate a little kibble. I will try the chicken broth tomorrow. Thanks! Poor guy! And we didnt even have the surgery yet! I hope when the lump is out (about the size of a softball) he will feel much better back there!

I have used Slippery Elm Bark when my old cat got constipated. I know this isn't quite the same thing but maybe it would help stuff move along inside? Ask your Vet? Poor boy.
