So...the surgeon did not do the surgery. We brought him in at 7:00 am to the hospital. Even though he had been there before-he was still happy to go with the vet tech. They told us to wait for the doctor's call and finally at 1:30 he calls. It was not what I expected! He thought something else was going on, but couldn't put his finger on it. He decided to redo the bloodwork and look for high levels of cortisol. He called back at 4:00 to say that the cortisol levels were fine and to pick him up. It wasnt necessary to stay overnight. He would let us know about the recent bloodwork. Poor guy- he was there all day with nothing to eat and he came home with the "pain in the butt!" still attached! He suggested getting a ct scan to see what was happening inside.
I'm so frustrated! I hate having Timber go through all those tests. Plus we would have to take him to another facility to get that done. He would have to go under anethesia again with the scan.
I decided to have our regular vet take a look at him this coming Saturday. She knows Timber the best. I feel like we are back at the beginning!
We will continue to take the mojo! Thanks everyone!

Sorry things did not go as planned. So much for Timber to have to go through and you too. Hopefully answers will be coming evident soon.

    Sending more mojo and prayers.

Oh no...we were so hoping to hear about a successful surgery...how disappointing for you and Timber. I thought he'd already had a scan (MRI or CT). Sending all good thoughts for Timber and tomorrow's visit. I'm so sorry he had to go through that uncomfortable day with nothing definite to show for it.
