I hope your vet is able to help Timber. Are they able to do the CT scan? Poor guy. Sending thoughts and prayers....

That's very frustrating, since this will delay removing whatever it is or whatever they can. I guess the surgeon wants a better idea of what he's up against before cutting away without knowing if there's more going on. I hope there's a quick turn around on this.

Thanks everyone! Our vet redid the bloodwork to compare to Monday's. She called this morning to say the rbc is slightly improving and that his body is making more new red cells. I think the surgeon is concerned if other things are going on, and he does the surgery-his ability to heal after the surgery will be very difficult. So we are stuck- I'm thrilled he is eating and feeling so much better. But he still has the lipoma and it is growing.
It is just so strange that a day after the biopsy-he got so sick. I'm wondering if he had a bad reaction to the sedative they used. Our vet said it's unlikely-but could be possible. She will discuss the latest results with the surgeon.. But in the end, he can decide to do the surgery or not.
I would hate to put him through surgery, and then not recover. But, how long can he happily keep pooping?
    Any thoughts?

Is there no way they could needle drain the lipoma if surgery isn't an option?

Best thoughts for Timber's comfort (and eventual resolution of this) continue.

Or they could probably use a local anesthetic and take the lipoma out? Or a milder form of sedation?
