      MUDDY MAC ~ A photograph.

      Aye Mates,

My gun dog trainee MAC during a muddy mid-February day of training. The ground surface is just thawed enough to make MAC a mess, but the ice in the background spells a wait for water work.

      Cheers,
      THE DOG WHISTLER 🍀🇮🇪🇺🇸

Oh Mac, just come on over and roll around on my kitchen floor. I already have 2 dogs doing it because my backyard is such a mess, so what's one more? My dogs are black and the mud doesn't show on them but my floor and Mac look pretty similar.

All that mud just means he has been hard at work. 👍

It's been a revelation to me now that I have yellows just how muddy the dogs really get. I've always had blacks in the past and you could never tell! Cookie in particular has come in looking quite a bit like Mac does in that picture, LOL.

Yeah I can take Sophie and Brooks out and Brooks will look like a mud ball, and Sophie shows nothing. Crazy.

Picture of a lab doing what a lab does whether hunting or finding that super fun mud puddle.

It always amazes me how much mud gets built up on bellies. I've had them come in dripping mud.
