“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

I'm so sorry! One of my little dogs is prone to stress colitis, a similar problem. I've found that feeding a very low fat kibble keeps it at bay. The food my vet prescribed has 4.5% fat, but I don't like the ingredients, so I searched for something with similar fat content. I found several "diet" dog foods that fit the bill. One I've seen recommended on other sites for dogs with pancreatitis (after following the vet-recommended food/treatment for awhile), is Annamaet Lean.

    Poor Benelli!

Am very familiar with pancreatitis in humans as I was diagnosed with it until it was discovered, a year later, it was my gallbladder. No fun at all. I did stay on a 5% fat diet and that helped a lot along with an enzyme.

    Sending good thoughts.
