Snug as a bug in a rug

I know this story needs photos, but alas.

Stormy sleeps in our bed. Last night, she curled up next to me, with her head on my chest. It was pretty near perfect. Her breathing got deeper and deeper, and then there was some noise, and then it turned into full-fledged, bulldog-like snores. I couldn't believe how loud it was. I tried to wait it out, but it showed no signs of abating. I finally got up and had a drink of water. I returned to the bedroom to find:

Stormy with her head on my pillow.
    Laying on her side.
With the blankets pulled up to just under her armpits.
Her front paws folded together like she was praying.
    Still snoring.

If it weren't 2 am, I would've thought it adorable! And I'm still not sure how she got herself tucked in...

That is hilarious!! And incredibly adorable!

So does she wake you up early in the morning?

Any issues with her waking up in the middle of the night chewing on something she shouldn’t?

    No accidents?

Still trying to decide when to free Diggity from his night time crate.

    so adorable!

I'm amazed how a puppy so young can sleep in your bed without doing anything bad in the middle of the night!

Wonderful story, but as you said, it NEEDS PICTURES!!!!! You should carry a camera with you at all times from now on so WE can have those amazing and entertaining pictures that only you can see.

It is the duty of a puppy owner to provide us with the required pictures to get us through the story.

Stormy sure hit the jackpot when it came to her people!!!

Sophie hops into bed with me when my wife gets up for work at 4 in the morning. One day last week I swear I'm having a dream and I can smell Frito's, I open my eyes and one of Sophie's front is about 2 inches from my face. She's laying with her head on my wife's pillow like a human.

So far, no problems. We go to bed between 9:30 and 10, and she’s usually good until a little after 6. That’s when DH gets up, so while it would be nice for her to sleep in later on the weekends, she’s used to breakfast at 6’ish. Occasionally she whimpers around 5, but after a successful potty outing, she’ll go back to sleep until 6. She never gets off the bed on her own.

We’re extremely lucky that she’s not a mischievous puppy. So far. She’s only 5 months old, though. We’ll see what havoc adolescence brings...

She’s still a little monster- the only reason I brought her in our bed so early is because she screams bloody murder if she’s in the crate more than a couple of hours- but she’s our little monster.
