I don't believe any airline allows cabin pets flying trans-oceanic. You need to check with your intended airline before going any farther.

I had one of my male pups fly to NY from WA years ago who was right on the weight limit for the cabin. Fit snugly but fine in the large sherpa. I am thinking he was almost 19#. I felt sorry for the gal's shoulders! I've also had folks fly over even from W. WA in the winter due to the mountain passes being bad. Those are little commuter jets, yet, still just fine. Do ask about under seat dimensions as I think aisle and middle seats may be wider than window. Can't remember now!

Flights are booked! We chose Delta since we had some credits with them. The booking agents were very helpful with the dimensions. Our carrier (large Sherpa) is one inch taller than the seat but the agent said it will be fine, the carrier can squish down a little.

Breeder has been posting lots of videos of the babies and we have been busy getting there house ready. Crate, collar, puppy food the breeder is feeding, training treats have all been purchased. Lily thinks we bought the crate and carrier for her. She keeps getting in the puppy’s crate and sleeping in it. Only two weeks to go!

I know!!! We are pretty excited and nervous too. The breeder posted a video last night of the puppies playing tug with each other. We forgot just how much energy they have, and they’re only 6 weeks!

This is very exciting! Although i have never flown a pet before i would be leary about taking them out of the carrier as tempting as it would be, as i have watched to many shows about unexpected tubulance. When i fly and they tell you you can unbuckle i always stay buckeled in for that very reason.

Please keep the updates coming and pictures when your little one arrives.
