That Stormy gets her spay sutures out Monday morning. She’s reached her limit with “no playing, running or jumping,” poor thing. There’s only so much short leash walks, mental exercise and puzzle toys can do. Here’s how she channeled excess energy yesterday- this was an inch-thick braided rope leash that survived 12 years of Kimber:

Oh boy. She was bored apparently!!
Once she gets her sutures out, is she all clear for anything?

Maybe piece it together to make sure she didn't swallow some of that. Silly girl.
DH was supervising. He figure it was better for her to pick apart and unravel the leash than to try and fight it. Luckily she showed no appetite for chewing what she destroyed- this was a disassemble job.
And yes, she should be cleared for all activity when the sutures come out!

Glad to hear she wasn't eating the leash....hope that mindset continues once she discovers how much "fun" stuffed toys can be.
Oh she is must be all wound up. I hope the sutures come out and she can go crazy with zummies.
One of the earliest pic/posts I ever saw on this board was of a whole leash, regurgitated after several months. NOthing to do with spaying, you just reminded me. One more day Stormy, hold on.

Hang in there, Stormy. You'll be counter surfing in no time.
LOL thankfully she just took it apart and had no interest tasting the leash.
When my Sarah was spayed I came home from work to find her banking off the back of the couch chasing Bailey. I gave SO an ear full and we headed off to the evet - weekend of course. He asked me if she was always this wound up, i laughed and said she is a lab puppy so yes. He wraped her tummy and gave me knock out pills for the remainder of her recovery
