oh, it’s starting. Tonight she pancaked during our walks anytime she saw something interesting while I wanted to keep walking. Selective hearing is starting, too, lol. NILF is in our near future.

She sounds so great! Thor is a cuddler but he always offers the butt end. Barley cuddles like Stormy - he wants to curl up under my arm and tuck his head as close to mine as possible.

Of course he’s also a snorer. Two words: ear plugs.

Well that would be a fantastic quality/trait to be able to request, eh! "I'd like one with a strong cuddle gene, please."

Ha, we weren't able to genetically design our puppy. But there were 3 black females from which we could choose, and I asked the breeder which one was the most cuddly. She said two were more snugglier than the third, so that helped us in our selection. We also got to visit the puppies twice at the breeder, and green collar (now Stormy) was very affectionate. Her sister Yellow Collar, on the other hand, was more interested in her littermates than us, and only wanted to be held by the breeder, so we were able to eliminate her from consideration.

You're so lucky to have a cuddler! Lido thinks any petting is meant to be a precursor to wrestling/playing like a dog! It's so frustrating. He loves to be right up under my feet on the floor while I'm relaxing on the couch, but he's not into any prolonged petting/scratching.

Stormy is a brilliant pup, she knows what she wants and knows how to get it.

Toby is my only cuddler out of the three and he is a champ at it (oh- and at snoring as well). When I went to the breeder to talk about what we wanted in a dog, he walked over to me, laid on my foot and promptly fell asleep while I was talking. I immediately wanted him. Originally the breeder was retaining him, but we made a deal that he can show him sometimes and I won't neuter him until he is 22 months at least and promised my life away basically, lol. But he is rocking his CGC class at 8 months and loves every minute of learning and cuddling Mommy. He's my perfect little stinker!
