Yes, it was all canned food that was recalled for one report of a dog suffering Vitamin D toxicity related to the food.

FDA Alerts Pet Owners and Veterinarians About Potentially Toxic Levels of Vitamin D in 33 Varieties of Hill’s Canned Dog Food in Expanded Recall

    Thanks everyone.

He had a little anxiety over night but nothing to be worried about he is settling in quite nicely.

We came across a loose Husky on our walk at noon. Georgia was her normal loud and barking self. He didn't make one noise and actually alerted us to the dog coming up behind us. He pulls a little on the leash but I must say he's pretty good. He just wanted to be petted 24-7.

    Thanks Everyone!!

So glad we helped you guys find that big handsome guy. Certainly nice that the adoption process went smooth. It was nice to finally meet you after 15, or so years of enjoying the lab board. Just think, it was almost 14 years ago that Andrew and I met, because of the lab board. Sheesh, time flies.
Looking forward to seeing many more photos of Ovie!

Congratulations on bringing home this beautiful boy!

He looks soooooo HAPPY in all the pictures...it looks like he was meant to be with you!

Do you know how old he is? He looks young...maybe a year or so?

I feed Purina Pro Plan and never had any issues... I feel it is definitely a better choice than Hill's Science Diet.

    .
Funny they have him at 2 years 4 months which means a December baby like me. I laughed with my wife on the way home that we have the same birthday. As it turns out the Vet filled out his card and we have the same birthday. Pretty funny.

Somebody when not looking got a half a bag of Buffalo Wing Potato Chips and Cherry Nibs off the counter today. I think we realized just how tall and lengthy he is as they were at the very back of the counter.
    Thanks Everyone!!
