Aww, Chili's not even 6 years old! He's not old! Lark has a fair amount of gray and she's just 6 herself. I've seen some 12 year olds with less gray than Larky has. I guess she's just graying early like I did.

6-7 years of age are the best years with a Lab! You "understand" each other completely!

How is Chili's diet going? If I recall correctly you wrote about it. This is also the age where some problems may start (like arthritis) where the extra pounds won't be helpful.

he gets 1 cup 2x a day of farmina and a few treats....last year weighed 120lbs...he should be a bit less maybe 110lbs....he a big lab. only med problem knock on would was a cracked/injured/cut in his front right pad. put on a bootie so stopped licking it and healed up pretty good. I wont give him less than 2 cups a day of kibble as thats already 1/2 of what farmina recommends for his size. shoot he was 100 lbs as a puppy, gaing 10 lbs over next 5 yrs to me is normal. but yea we pay attention to his weight.-1660457_764301696916387_1081163645_n-jpg hear he at 8 months i think...big puppy
