We took in a little dog,

My daughter's landlord set a new rental policy of no pets, so she had to give up her dog, LuLu. She's a cute little thing, a beagle / Pomeranian mix, she looks more beagle with a bushy tail. At least she is safe and sound and my Grandchildren can visit her, she's housebroken and she up to date on shots and all. I couldn't let her turn her into the shelter, not knowing what would happen to her or where she would end up.

Thank you for giving her a home....she sounds adorable. You know what this means, though. We want pictures!

I just Googled the mix and there's one pic that looks an awful lot like Dan and one that looks like a little fox. Cute little beasts.

That's so kind of you, but what I'd hope my kids would do if we couldn't keep our dogs. I know I'd have the breeders to provide backup but you do like to think of them with family, since they are family. We would like to see what LuLu looks like!

Did your daughter investigate what changes landlords can make? Many times existing pets must be grandfathered. Although, even if they are, it might be better to stay on the good side of a landlord, for the pet's sake. So lucky this little one had you in her corner. And close too, a bonus. Photo?

-dscn0141-jpgA couple more pictures. The dog house is inside and stays inside.

Poor little thing is way over weight, her nails are wicked long, she won't let me clip them, she growled at me when I tried! I love my daughter, but she has neglected this little girl, glad I took her, and I will be taking her to the vet to have her looked over tomorrow, if they can sneak us in.

    She's a cutie, that's for sure.

Try using a coarse file (single direction) on her nails. Mine don't like clippers of any kind (nor do I), but filing is just fine. Good luck.
