    Grooss

Cassie was super proud carring around a dead squirrel. Worse yet she wanted to bring it in the house. Got her to drop it and then her in the house. I had to get the thing and dispose of it. Not my favorite thing. I feel sick. She is so proud

Did she catch it? Squirrels are pretty darn fast.

It would be even worse if she got past you into the house and you discovered that the squirrel was only stunned, not dead. If it woke up and started racing around inside, you'd really be in a pickle! Because, of course, Cassie and Molly and the cat(s) would join in on the chase! Now doesn't that make you feel better that it didn't happen?

That is so funny! Guess that's why they call them retrievers!

I can relate. Kendal did the same thing one Xmas morning. Let him out, he came back in with something in his mouth, that at first I thought was a bedraggled dog toy. Nope, dead squirrel. He released it and I disposed of it.
