I don't think Sarah has stopped shedding from last fall. Usually when she blows her winter coat she is nice and sleak with a corse coat in the summer, but for the past couple of years her coat is really soft and fluffy. People always ask me what kind of shampoo i use and am embarrassed to say nothing, we don't bath our dogs unless they get into something stinky.

I use the rake on Sarah and a regular brush on occasion. With her coat changing so much the rake picks up more loose fur.

Chloe's coat has change a lot in the last year or so too. It happens to spayed girls as they age. I miss her old, more correct coat!

Interesting, I haven't noticed Cookie's coat change after he was neutered last year though. It did become longer and lighter in color, but that was before he was neutered. Shedding is the same... I got used to it

As for who sheds the most, I'm not sure. When she was younger, Cookie shed ALL the time, but over the winter she developed the best coat she's ever had and barely shed, although I'm expecting her to start blowing that coat any time now. Sass rarely sheds - even her seasonal shed is mostly a non-event. Chloe has always been a heavy seasonal shedder but as she's gotten older (and since being spayed) her coat has changed quite a bit - now she sheds all the time and her seasonal shed (which is happening now) is crazy bad.
Which undercoat rake do you recommend? I need one badly!

This is the one I have. Been very happy with it - I like that it has two sides ... when her fur is super thick and hard to get through I use the side with the wider prongs, normally the other side. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Got the brush today and it is awesome! I got tons of fur off of Diggity. I have not been great about consistently brushing him, so I am starting somewhat slowly so he gets used to it. He doesn’t seem to mind this brush at all. Thanks again for the recommendation!

Oh nos! I forgot about the shedding! So instead of the camo-brown fur I'm getting yellow fake snow fur????

When she looks at me with this expression she looks just like her Daddy.
