    Benelli sad news

So Monday we did bloodwork on Benelli everything was improving and his HTC was up to 31!! He's been eating well. Last week he had a little pancreatitis flare up but very mild and never completely went off food.

We'd he starting losing control of his legs kinda looked like Bambi on ice and he was ataxic and looked drunk.

Vet said could be from long term pred used but he's leaning more toward something else going on like a spinal tumor or even possible brain tumor.

I'm making an appt for a second opinion with the Specialist. He's acting fine other wise wagging his tail eating drinking and playing with his ball he just stumbles sometimes when he tries to do thing too fast. We live in a ranch so we don't have to worry about stairs and bought a buch or rug runners which seem to help.

I got him some CBD capsules and we started a ween off the pred.

If getting him off the meds doesn't help or his numbers start dropping then becomes a quality of life issue.

Oh Benelli! I'm glad his numbers look good but sorry to hear that the boy himself is still having issues. I hope to hear better news soon!

When Rosie wasn't feeling well at the end, she was seizing, the vet suspected a brain tumor. When they don't feel well don't you wish they could talk and tell you what is wrong. I hope Benelli feels better soon.
