I really thought you were going to say that Hemi came over to investigate/help and dropped his peanut butter covered antler on the keyboard. No such 'luck', eh? Glad that it's all replaceable - time to get that lab a job to pay for his craziness!
Jeff (07-16-2014)
A lot of action in such a short time! Glad that you've all survived without an injury and I guess it's about time Logitech gave a serious thought to a lab-friendly keyboard. It's really sad how much these companies underestimate dogs' intelligence; why a lab who can paint such wonderful pictures as Hemi shouldn't work on a computer? That's what I call discrimination - shame, shame, shame!

Glad no one was hurt. As crazy as this sounds, miss the help of a 4 legged companion. Hemi, not so rough next time helping Dad.

Glad it was only stuff that got hurt and not you or Hemi! When I was about 15 I sat on my friend's glass coffee table and shattered it. I grew up in a house that never had glass tables, so it didn't occur to me that I couldn't sit down. I'm still scarred that I broke a table with my bum!

Sheesh!!! Bummer on the breaks, good for no injuries though. Too bad about the keyboard...$$$out the window.
Hemi lives up to his name....high performance, combustion engine Lab!!

oh Hemi.....so glad you both weren't hurt, but boy, just when you think he's entertained, then snap, so much for that nice keyboard...
I've had a glass table....it managed to survive (just) 2 labs, but after the last close call, it got replaced with wood.

oh my gosh... that is quite a couple days.
is it wrong that i am selfishly a lil happy to read a story in which hemi is a dog and not a saint??? i can only take so much jealousy!!! hahaha
so glad everyone's ok!
Yikes! The keyboard and the glass both made me feel like throwing up in my mouth a little. I hate it when expensive things break. Gives me a sinking feeling deep in my gut.
If it makes you feel any better, my wife got distracted making a left turn, took it too wide and ran over a small boulder (put there to keep people from doing what she did no less). Tore up the front and rear bumpers, fog lights, radiator mount, muffler, tailpipe, busted the oil pan (oil all over my driveway now) and a few other dented items underneath.
Thankfully she, like Hemi, is fine.
Expensive week for us both.
ETA:Could Hemi's trouble with the keyboard be due to his being so used to an iPad? Lol
