Not quite what he expected

On Sunday my DD and I made a salt dough art project. Baked them and painted them and she deemed them not quite done, so they are still on the art table. Gunner has been eyeing them for days thinking they were cookies. I keep telling him leave it it's not food. He takes a sniff and walks away. Well...I get out of the shower this morning and he takes me into the bedroom like he needs to show me something. There's a big mess on the floor and he looks and it and up at me and then back down at the mess.

Took me a minute to figure out what it was, but the little stinker stole a hard as a rock salt dough ornament thing off the table and tried to eat it. I don't think it was quite as good as he was hoping for. It was exactly like he was trying to tell me I made some really bad cookies or something. He has some nerve. I cleaned up the carnage before DD could get mad at him. Should have let him take her wrath, as he deserved it!

While not too bright at times, he was smart enough not to choose any of her favorites, so their friendship lives to see another day!
