We are experiencing thunderstorms today. We got some rain today and a storm is passing by. Opie is scared to death here. I have to get down on the floor with him and hug him and tell him he's gonna be OK. What a furry chicken!!

Poor Opie - you can never have too many snuggles! We're fortunate that storms don't phase Gabby, as we had a major night of thunder and lightning.

Feel so bad for Opie,really do. Guess I've been pretty lucky as both Lynn and Mel couldn't care less when there's thunder roaring and then there are all those funny flashes - lightning?For some pups it's really hard; we had a neighbor, a great dog, not sure, but probably a Brasiliero Fila mix. A cute, big, strong, and brave boy, but when he heard/felt a storm approaching, he went nuts and there was no way to keep him calm and quiet.
