Hope it's nothing more than a lipoma. Charlie has one. I found a lump between his shoulder and leg last November. It was a lipoma and has not changed in size at all. Hope that's all it is for Ruger. Good thoughts

A lipoma. Now I can relax. Thank goodness. Thanks for all the good thoughts everyone.
OH, so happy for you. Prayers and MOJO answered again!
When Cracker was getting lipomas, I did not have them removed because I read they just come back. Some study I read said they were a dumpsite for toxins and if removed the tissue in that area will fillup again.
Also, have your vet document the location and size on a body diagram in the file for Ruger.
YA HOO! Lipoma is good.
Like Blackboy98 said, have your vet document place and size and you keep a copy. Melody had quite a chart going with all her lumps.
Whew! Glad that's all it is. I hate lumps and bumps!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
