    Gauge had a fun day

I had to bring him in for another medicated bath and to have the vet recheck his skin. He got to play with General an 96 lb yellow lab mix who looks almost like gauges twin. They were so adorable and played so nice tho listening to them you would think they were killing each other. Gauge needs another labby friend in the house to play and rough house with the sheltie and poodle just don't cut it. Pics later tonight!!!

That's great! Good to hear that Gauge had a ball playing with the other doggie. Know how it looks AND sounds; still have a nice vid of Lynn playing with her best friend and to a stranger it would definitely look like a regular dog fight
Can't wait to see the pics

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v...01232948280970 here is a video I'm hoping it works!!

here are some pics of the crazy pair Gauge is usually the one on top and General just lays there at one point Gauge was dragging him around the floor with the toy. I took him down in the basement we have a huge training area and then a room that isn't used except for storage so I took them in there for a 45 min playtime.

That's a great video, really love it! Just Mel was a bit nervous when she heard them, but couldn't see or smell them. Watching them play like this you realize why we can't really play with our pups - we'd end up noseless, earless and lipless in less then one minute - and at the same time you can see how gentle, tender and careful they are when trying to play with us. Thanks for sharing.

Yesterday as we entered the vet there was a woman checking in with her 6 month old lab for spay. I asked if he could say hi and she said is he friendly I said yes he was. So he is clearly excited but when he gets excited his hair stands up and he smiles showing teeth. She kept saying are you sure he's friendly. I kept having to say he's fine he's just excited he loves eveyone.Alot of people just don't know how to read dog behavior.
