    having anxiety

I'm doing a favor for my friend bc her daughter is getting married today. I'm staying over her house and watching thier 4 dogs. My husband is in charge I'd feeding and taking care of our guys 4 dogs and 6 cats.

I called him to walk him thru feeding and he acts like it's a big inconvenience to him. I know he won't scoop litter boxes which not a big deal since it's over night. This is why I never go away.

You'd think it was brain surgery sometimes. Just give them their food and step away from their bowls. I think you have to go away sometimes, to let them know they not only CAN do it, but there's a lot you're doing that receives no recognition.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Every once in a while DHs need to realize just how much "goes on behind the scenes".

I have no problem when going away; know DH can handle the furkids. No so sure about him with the fish. Problem is, there is no discipline and it's chaos when I get home.

I guess I am the lucky one. Jake is amazing taking care of Bacon, He actually does more than I do during the week, I get the brunt on weekends since Jake works.

Whenever Pat's home alone with Luna he sees how nuts she can get. He tries to take her to play fetch off leash and wonders why she doesn't listen to him like she does to me. Well, because I train and work with her all the time...

Let's just say they are still alive. Gauge and Manny didn't poop the whole time I was gone I let them out and they both ran out and pooped. I'm supposed to go away in Feb for a week and now I'm having second thoughts. Plus I hate being away from the dogs. I'm looking at places in Maine that will let me bring the dogs with me.
