    Any other cat loving labs?

Does anyone else have a cat loving dog? Maggie LOVES cats. She gets so excited when she sees one. She has met a few friends' cats and the resident cat at the vet office. She army crawls to them wags her tail and gives them kisses.

Mocha loves our cat. This is an unrequited love. Mocha loves the fact Duchess is a self propelled toy. He just wants to play with her but she is not having anything to do with him. We hope after Mocha settles down a bit and is not quiet so rambunctious they might snuggle some.

How come Maggie doesn't have a cat of her own? Me thinks miss Maggie needs her own kitty

I've always said, dogs and cats can be the very best friends. One of our ferals is pretty skittish but he and Oban have a very good relationship. And one of the kittens is getting all lovey dovey with Oban too. Oban is leery of hooks since the Mother Cat nailed him a couple of good ones but the kitten is gentle with him and now they groom each other and snuggle up together.

I think Maggie needs her own cat too.

Luna also has an unrequited love with her cat sister. It's a one way street. Though the cat does sniff and lick Luna when Luna is passed out asleep...

Maxx has 2 kitties of his own but he has a very special relationship with one, Barney. Barney was a rescue, found in a dumpster, no mama and no siblings, he was about 4 weeks old. After searching for mama and other babies, to no avail, he came home with my son. Although we had another cat here they were rather indifferent to each other but Barney loved Ozzy, my previous Lab and it was mutual. Emma tolerates the cats and Barney enjoys tormenting her. When Ozzy died, Barney was lost, it was sad. When Maxx arrived they became best friends instantly. I honestly think Barney thought Maxx was his puppy. They play, snuggle, sleep together and are rarely apart. It is a wonderful friendship that began with one awesome black Lab and has continued with another. I honestly don't think Barney is aware of the fact he is a cat.

Zoey loves the kitties but the love isnt returned. I have one male who rubs on her and pretends he loves her then takes a swipe at her. The other 3 are just old and dont want to be bothered

If i didnt have 4 older cats i would get her a kitten

Maverick loves cats but the sentiment is not returned. Gizz can tolerate him as long as he's on higher ground. Oreo growls, hisses, and swipes at Maverick. Then Maverick thinks it's a game and tries to sniff the kitty or chase him and Oreo will have nothing to do with so on we go with the growling, hissing, and swiping.
