Koopa's not *really* a lab but I love his ears the best, especially the super soft spot just under them

Tough, choice. I would have to say his eyes. The most soulful thing I think and adds so much to his expressions.

Oddly I spend a lot of time with his butt too. Scratching the butt and doing the butt scratch dance, wake up in the morning it is the first thing I see usually. I gently pat it in the night. We play the chase game I am going to get your butt. When he wake me up in the morning he lays right on top of me, front feet on one side, back feet on the other butt up in the air and so that butt needs a spanking.

Chubby cheeks, I rub his cheeks and he melts into my hands and can always put him to sleep at night but rubbing his cheeks. .

His paws, we have a lot of fun with those. I rub them sometimes, I point at them and he looks at them like what, do I got something on them. I sniff then and tell him pew they stink and he gets all excited.

I love Skeena's ears, but I cannot resist the smell of the top of his head. I want to live there. I bury my face and inhale deeply. It's my crack.

I'm an eye guy like most seem to be. They can tell me a lot. They are also the most evil part. How can you discipline a lab when those big, sad, 'Ol root beer eyes droop as they look up at you. Makes me want to teach her to close her eyes so I can tell her how naughty she was!!!

Least favorite part, the mouth. Sunshine is a drooler. She a gross, disgusting little creature. I always carry a bandana to clean up her face. Anything she carries gets really slimy and nasty. I accept it, most people can't. I get a lot of "Ewwww, what is that all over your dog's head?" I pull out the bandana, call her over, wipe it all off and send her back to play.

Least favorite part when we visit folks at their home? The happy tail. I understand how it functions but when visiting, folks don't understand the tail. They will put beverages and breakable stuff at tail level. I spend a lot of time moving things and warning people. I have to laugh when folks say 'oh, it will be fine.' Yeah, ok. I apologize before hand for what in inevitably going to happen.

Her favorite part? What else but the fanny! For some reason or other it is always in need of scratches or spankings.

Maxx - another vote for those soulful eyes and those velvet ears! I also adore his soft mouth and the way he gently holds my hand.

Emma - again those beautiful eyes and soft ears. I love to watch her run and play. She is very athletic and watching her takes my breath away!

I love Ram's ears. I could rub my face on them all day. I also like his bum when he's walking away from me, he's has quite a wiggle.

His eyes are tough to deny, but his big chest is pretty awesome also.

I absolutley love that space under the nose and before the lip turns under....usually there is line or crease there. Addie knows I love to gently run my thumb over it and she will play hard to get then finally let me swipe it. I love that spot. (avoid the potentially wet nose and slobbery mouth.....) I have taken to calling it the "flibbertygibbit" because as far as I know it doesn't have a name.

    Wow. I am weird.

Speaking of soft ears. My sister has an English yellow lab that is the softest lab I have ever had the pleasure to pet. "Elsie" is a small gal at about 50# but her whole body is softer than Sunshine's ears. You go to pet her and can't stop! Of course, she doesn't mind too much. She is softer than the under fur of a rabbit, it is unbelievable. Petting Sunshine, even the ears or tummy, is like stroking a stiff nylon brush compared to her. It is like Elsie never developed the hair, only the fur.

It does have its downside, from my point of view. Sunshine can run in the surf, roll in the sand, get hosed off, shake rattle and roll for a bit and be ready to come inside. Elsie needs a lot of toweling before she dries off.
