I liked Victoria until she started doing the NYC season (wish she still had shows) and mostly use her techniques of positive training. But I still watch and select ideas from Cesar. Many of them have to do with myself and my own flaws. The first that comes to mind is that I try to remember to keep good posture and relaxed confidence. Shadow has me figured out and I really recognize this when someone else takes him for a walk. I am always amazed at how perfectly responsive he is when he walks next to the groomer or the vet tech - just the other day, the groomer took him for a nail trim. The groomer had a teacup Yorkie and Shadow walking politely at his ankles. If they were with me, he would be doing his "me-first" act and I would have be walking both in circles to get him to mellow out (Yorkie would probably be flying in the air behind us!).

Yes, a small clip, but that poor dog was put to sleep, if I recall correctly.
As someone else noted, Holly was not PTS. She does indeed live at the DPC -- I saw her there.

The lab with PTSD was Gavin. Sadly, he died in 2011 at the age of 11. You can read a memorial to him here:

You are correct, Holly was not PTS and Gavin passed away from cancer. Nothing to do with Cesar at all

Thank you for posting that memorial. I often wondered what happened to him. So sad to hear he passed from cancer at such a young age. I read though the memorial, he was a real character and was loved by many, many people.

We used to watch when it was new, back when we had cable. I liked how he emphasized that exercise and discipline (which I interpreted as 'training') needed to come before affection. Too many times I've had people whine to me about their ill-behaved dog, only to find out that the dog gets no exercise and there's no consistency in house rules. (Often, there's little affection, too. Sigh.) I also liked his intro statement "I train humans". Too many owners want a quick fix and don't want to admit they need to change too.

    This.

How many dogs are messed up because the humans in their lives have no clue what they are doing. I can't tell you how many times someone will say to me how well behaved my dogs are, and how their's would never be that good. I tell them how many hours I spend working with mine, and they look at me like I from Mars. They really just don't get it.

I see your Cesar Millan and I raise you with Canada's dog training show - At the end of the leash.
    I don't think it's on TV anymore.

I completely forgot about this, but Cesar bought a yellow Lab from a local breeder (my dog's nephew). I don't know the back-story beyond that. I thought he was into rescues, pits, and similar, so when I initially discovered this, I assumed it was for a celebrity or someone with a lot of money and that he was going to train him then hand him over to the new owner. But, just this morning I saw a post on FB from the breeder of the puppy playing with one of his pits plus the #bentleymillan tag, so apparently he still has him. I think the puppy must be four months now.
