    Dog Award Ideas?

I have these little gold plates from my dogs' titles and was looking into getting a perpetual plaque, but they are pretty expensive for what they are! I thought I'd look into a cool piece of reclaimed barnwood and glue them on instead of using the sticky backs. Also, if they are different like that, I'm more likely to hang them in a spot where they can be seen versus a spare room. Any thoughts or ideas on that?

Also, what to do with the ribbons? They add up so fast and I feel like I should do something with them. Thoughts?

We get title plates too, from our clubs, but they also give us the plaque to hang it on. There is a breeder in the NW and her husband makes plywood lab cut outs. Some are almost lifesized, some smaller. You could get something like that and put your plate on that.

I put all my strip ribbons on a piece of paper (5 fit), and do it on both sides, then slip it into a plastic page sleeve. Each dog has their own binder for registration, vet things, clearances, titles, ribbons etc.

    Those are good ideas...thanks!

Someone told me that our club used to give out the plaques, but I guess that is discontinued.

I saw some cool ideas on Pinterest last night with ribbons and rosettes. Most of them require being crafty or $$$ though... I like your idea but with a scrapbook of some sort. I keep the dogs' stuff in a folder currently, but I think a scrapbook would be a nicer way to display it while also allowing me to find things easily.

Like the binder idea. They sure do add up fast! ashamed to say, my dining room table is heaped with ribbons, rosettes and score sheets, waiting for something to be done. I did come up with a way to display his title certificates, i buy the inexpensive plain black frame certificate frames, and then i made a hanging ribbon, about 4ft long, that i glued dog print detail down the middle, and across the top and bottom, then sewed little hook closures to it, each ribbon will hold 3 certificate frames. I've seen someone up north made a wall hanging with their flat ribbons, like a paving brick pattern, looked kinda cool, it was incorporated into a bigger hanging with fabric.

    Here's the hangers i made
