Poor Archie! Bogey does that when I say the magic words "did you do that?"

Poor Archie, I know My Girly Girl Jessi was very abused by her previous owners when I adopted her from the shelter. The shelter had to go in and take her out of the situation, I was very touch and go on things for awhile when we adopted her also

That's sad, hugs to poor Archie. True reacts almost the same when you get near him with anything with a long handle like a broom or rake. I'm sure that's how the breeder had them nearly potty trained by 8 weeks.

That's always so distressing. You have to wonder about some people. Our Fran had some of those. We would put the thing on the floor and give her some cookies after she checked it out.

Poor Archie. It's such a puzzle to figure out what can unnerve your dog. But you caught it.

Poor Archie. My Kayla (unknown history) reacts similarly to long handled objects.... Guess who loves the scary ol' back scratcher now! Continued time, patience (and treats)...
Kudos to you for coming so far and so well with your guy.

That's so sad. It warms my heart he's with a loving family now. They certainly didn't deserve him.

Cody used to snap at bees and other buzzing insects. If Chili does get stung, treat it much like you would for your self. Get the stinger out by scraping it out. Give him Benadryl to help with any reaction. Monitor him to make sure he does not have a bad reaction. Call the vet if the swelling is extreme or he begins to have breathing problems.
Benadryl for Dogs is a website that has dosage information and other information about Benadryl for dogs. The first time Cody got stung, I panicked and immediately took him to the vet.
