Love that you are making plans for you and TRAD and wish you both luck and a fun time.

Took me a long time to post this because I wanted to listen to each of the pieces you listed. So beautiful. The medical staff and patients are going to love you sharing your gift.

    PopTop,
Good on ye for taking the time to research some o' the tunes Mate. Beautiful and timeless music deeply woven into the Irish culture. Irish Traditional Music is known as "TRAD" throughout and by it's many enthusiasts. Being an Irish Traditional Music fanatic, TRAD seemed like a natural name for me K9 companion. TRAD is derived from the Irish word tradisiun which is the equivalent of the English word tradition. I chose TRAD'S name as such, because he is part of a tradition of me producing many finely trained gundogs. As well, TRAD has grown up in me home listening to TRAD music daily. TRAD music surrounds meself and me Lad TRAD as an integral part of our lives. It seems that me dogs are fans as they will often climb right up on the bench with me and listen contently as I play.

I just hope me throat is not too scorched to play come Tuesday morn. They tell me the scorching will heal as time goes on.

We'll keep you in our prayers. As you might presume from my nom de plume, I'm ate up with green genes. (via Co. Armaugh) and married to a fella whose grandfather arrived here from Ardara in the 1920's.

May your next St. Patrick's day be much brighter.

    TuMicks,
I knew ye had Irish genes. Co. Armagh was the home of the late Tommy Makem, a gift to the world o' music he was. Happy St. Paddy's Day to ye as well, and many more.
