oh thanks Jeff - the ladder is interesting, would like that too!

The weaves - how do you "stabilize them"? I saw some that you buy picks that go in the ground (lovely for lawns but hey, the yard is for the dogs haha). The concern si 1.5 begin too big for weaves but we may buy a some smaller stuff.

The bed could be a fun project - yours look great and boy does Hemi really seem to love it! cutey Penny is a digger and a roller but not too big on pouncing - i Don't see mine getting as much abuse but the dogs seem to prefer "firms mattresses" so I'm on the fence still about the kurango. I probably still have lots of time, not sure we'll have time to do much more than the jumps easter weekend

I've heard of using canvas fire hose for the bed. No idea how to get them. Supposedly chew resistant.

    Jeff,
Have you considered trying Schedule 80 PVC? It has a thicker wall and less flexible. You might have to go to a plumbing supply house, not sure if Howes or LomeDepot carries sch 80 PVC.

See the legs in the picture that jut out, those keep them up and stable. Your not going to be setting up weaves on a extremely uneven space. Real official weaves you buy or see at an agility trial are exactly the same except for the base is solid metal instead of PVC.

I didn't get to it this weekend, it was a busy weekend. I will try to get it tonight so I can give you the dimensions. Hemi is a roller too, he loves to roll into that bed and flop around. Thats why he looks so goofy in that second pic, I caught him mid roll.

Not yet, that may be next we will see if Hemi can break the current design.

Jeff, what about using rebar instead of dowels to strengthen the PVC? I like your solution.
