    I'm glad Opie is OK, Bamps. I'm not sure what a foxtail is...never heard of it.

    A foxtail is a wheed that looks similar to a foxtail, thus the name, it disconnects from the plant itself a reproduces by burrowing into anything it lands on. They can be fatal by digging in all the way to the brain if not detected and treated, causing destruction and havoc until it gets there. Very dangerous if not detected and removed.
