Stainless. They last forever. Guess I've had some of mine for over 15 years. Pop them into the dishwasher.

Stainless steel that had the rubber strip on the bottom for all of about 15 minutes before Oban chewed it off. It is not a Kong bowl though, they look to be better. For water a big, heavy, old ceramic mixmaster bowl for practically nothing at the thrift store. We are on our third of that due to my storing canned goods above the drinking bowl. Yeah.

We use stainless steel at home. Regular for food, non-tip for drinking. The rubber lining FINALLY got old and cracked and fell apart after about 5 years. Chloe’s FAVORITE bowl in the whole world to drink from though is a big ceramic one they have at our training center. Not sure what the attraction is, but she looks for it whenever we go, and if doesn’t happen to be out and she has to use her own bowl she is very disappointed, LOL.

Inside I have one quart ceramic soufflé, like a large ramekin, bowls for both water and food. In the car are two stainless smaller bowls, maybe a pint or so. Outside is a 5 gallon bucket of the good stuff, you know green, dead bugs, leaves..... The inside water dish is a last resort drinking thing.

I needed something that Sunshine would not be able to pick up and bring over to me. All the regular dog bowls have a lip on the top and that makes them transportable.
