Maxx is up at 6:30 AM every day, (He is very routine oriented!), Emma will slowly join us. I feed them, they go outside to potty then back to bed where they nap until their morning walk, usually around 10.

It's not my dog that wakes me up, it's my (damn) cats.

I'm up at 4:00 every day. Sunshine's feeding times are 4:00 and 4:00, food has become VERY important to her. Sometimes she will start at 2:00 but by 3:30 it HAS to be breakfast time, isn't it? If it is raining out and I'm going to sleep later than 4, I just get up, feed her and go back to bed. She has never woken me up for any other reason, well.. except if she hears something outside. Never to go outside.

She went through a number of phases or ways to get me up; The Bulldozer, Vulture, Flopper, Mountain Goat... As I broke her of one she would come up with another. I will have to admit, all were very effective.

Someone mentioned opening an eye sends them wild. This is my favorite morning tease. She will be up on the bed and I'll wake up, opening my eyes: Thump Thump Thump Thump... on the wall. Close my eyes it stops. I'll make a game of it. Try for one thump, then two, then three... Or how many one thumps or four thumps in a row can I get out of her. But you have to be sly about it. As soon as she catches on you are playing her the tongue attacks your face.

My dogs sleep in bed with me and do not get up until I do. My schedule is different every day. If I am still sleeping they know it and leave me alone. Even if I (rarely) take a nap on the couch, momma's eyes are closed, means leave her alone..... :-)

Mother's Day and my little furry babies still needed to wake me up at 6:30! If they really love me, couldn't they have waited a bit? I guess not when hungry bellies are demanding action!

I usally wake up at the crack of Smack. But if I happen to sleep later than 5 or 5:30 the cat wakes me up. Most days I get the house up.

For some reason Sarah has decided that 5am is a good time to take her morning constitutional, so I am up at 5 to let her out then again at 6am to feed everyone. Sometimes I get to go back to bed and sleep until 7-7:30 but by then Penny is up and walking all over me. My babies get me up then find their special places to snuggle back down for their morning naps.
