The other thread got locked, so I'm reposting this question here.
I'm curious as to what training methods you've used on your dogs. I noticed in your original welcome post, in the picture of Lilly, the choke chain collar was on incorrectly. And it seems your husband is the one being bit all the time. Even by the allegedly aggressive 3 month old pup.
What type of correction was used? Did you contact a POSITIVE trainer, one that doesn't use positive punishment? Or did you just "correct" this on your own? Or did you figure the Cesar Milan way is the way to go?
I'm not trying to bash you, but it's highly unlikely all these dogs are at fault, or the shelter. No shelter adopts out an aggressive, biting dog, particularly in a state with strict bite liability laws. So all this is just not computing with me.

You question me but not the shelter. The shelter did as they were going to be fined if they had a dog return. It's a new law because of so many returns in our state, plus one county shelter got caught selling animals to labs. Go figure. Spin it around and get it adopted right away, fine goes away. yep big bite liability laws here, I guess the shelter wanted to shift that liability over to me, and not get a fine for a return, which came in through Animal Control.
BTW, Lilly was 5-1/2 months close to 6 months when she bit my husband the first time. Close to 7 months the next time. Jake, when 3 month old, bit my husband. He was our dog before Lilly. I would think 3 months vs 7 months is a big difference in a bite. The Animal Control did as well.
Thanks, appreciate your concern. But really, maybe some should really look at the shelter and not automatically bash the person.
