    Small update:

Things had gotten slightly better, I thought. They tried to play, a little, on two different occasions.

But Diamond is still so barky with pup. And he is CONSTANTLY correcting him. Putting his open mouth on him, knocking him down with his paw. Some raise lipped snarls and barks... even when the puppy is doing nothing but sitting there, alone.

Poor puppy always looks so dejected and sad when that happens, it breaks my heart.

I'm still holding out some hope, though. They have eaten and drunk from the same bowl, no issues. And some sitting next to each other.

I currently have an 8 week old and older dogs, even my tolerant three year old bitch hates him because he had only run with his mother so tries to approach her in the wrong way as far as she is concerned. I'm keeping them apart, giving her her space - and as soon as he turns into less of a baby and can go out for walks with her, it will be fine. No reason she should like him after all - he is another bitch's baby!

Tula wanted to kill Gracie the first day we brought her home. Good thing we had a fence between them! As you can see they became best friends. It took several weeks for Tula to accept Gracie in her space but it wasn't much longer than that and they were playing and sleeping together!

Mia didn't like maverick when we got him either. It took a few weeks before we'd let them play together and a few more before she was comfortable with him.
