I'm so sorry. Instead of goodbye, tell her you'll see her later.

I am so sorry that you're losing your sweet Lab girl, but glad that you and your siblings are going to be able to spend this weekend with her. Big (((HUGS))) to you all.

So sorry to hear this news. It's good you were able to make it back to see her. Believe me I know what you are going through after letting my Lab go on June 25th.

As many dogs as I have had through the years, it never gets easy. How wonderful that your family has had her many years. Your family is in my thoughts.

After a weekend of lots of hugs, I love yous, unhealthy human food she's never been allowed to have before, and stalking her with the camera, I said goodbye. She's actually been perkier than usual because she is on predisone, which I think is hard on my parents since they had prepared to take her in pretty soon, but now she is perking up and eating again.

Here's a couple photos of my sweet girl Tori, one from when we just got her and then one from more recently. She played the family dog role of being forced to wear random clothing perfectly.

O that face and eyes, with the wagging tail. Only labs can look like that. Many tears and heartache for you and your family.
