I originally ordered a 36" NoztoNoz for Bruce. Wasn't nearly big enough. Sent it back and got the 42". Much better fit. Bruce is 24" at the withers and weights 80 pounds.

While they can fit into a 36" crate, if they have to spend much time in it, I'd go for the 42". Both of mine have crowded in, but it would be more comfortable to sleep overnight or nap for a few hours in the afternoon in the larger crate.

Mine are nearly 24" and over 90 lbs each and they can fit in the 36" just fine for shows (obviously, not together). I wouldn't leave them in it overnight, but that's not what the travel crates are for.

totally agree, unless it's a small lab the 36" is only good for short periods Even if we are at an event most of the day, he spends most of it outside the crate (or with the door open and he chooses to go in)

When I put Bruce in there he just filled the whole thing up. I guess you could say he "fit" in there in that he could lay down with the door zipped, I just felt he'd be more comfortable in the 42". I guess when I said "wasn't nearly big enough" it implied he did not fit inside. Reading some of these posts and thinking about it now, I probably could have used the 36". It was only a $3 price difference and shipping was free with Amazon Prime. I guess in a pinch I could probably get Sophie in there too!

Bruce and Sophie in the 42". I'd say this would work for them short term.
