    Puppy drives car into lake.

When I first told my husband that I always set the emergency brake and lock the doors when Fran is in the car, he thought I was crazy. But she would totally do this.

    OMG!
When Mocha rides with me in the truck to take the trash down the lane, I always turn off the ignition and take the keys!

I take the keys with me and pull the emergency brake too. Ginger pays way to much attention to what my feet and hands are doing for me to feel safe leaving her in the car by herself.

Always turn the car off and take the keys. Not just worried about the pup but what happens when someone decides they aren't afraid of the pup and take the car.

I guess I'm weird. But better safe than sorry.

Oh great, it had to be a GSD! No, Archie, you are not getting your permit.
