    He's Definitely Not A Gentleman

It's been raining all day. That means Mardi and Archie want to go out all that much more. When they're ready to come back in, Archie pushes to the front to get in leaving poor Mardi trying to stand under the eaves. Since the back door entrance is only big enough to let in one at a time to dry off, Archie muscles in first, gets dried, then Mardi comes in. I just have to spend more time with Mardi, giving her rubs and love for her patience and tolerance.

Somewhere along the line Archie did not get the gentleman gene.

Archie, you'd better be more polite with your gimpy Mum. Mardi has 4 legs to balance on, your Mum only has one good leg right now. Is he different with you? So often they seem to know.

He's always been careful moving around me thankfully. One thing, he is a lot more clingy, laying on my feet, etc. Right now he's nudging my arm, making sure I know he's right here.

Aww that sounds so cute-kiss him on the head for me! As for the other, boys push around who they can. All boys, not just dog boys. That's why I threaten my husband with the couch weekly (not that he's ever slept on it) but I keep it out, just floating on the peripheral as a reminder

Maxx is pushy like that with Emma. It is his only trait I do not care for. I have always made him wait his turn, she is the queen of the house and someday he might just learn to respect that! Probably wishful thinking on my part but I will continue my quest to drum it in to his thick Labby skull!
