I use newspaper bags too. I had a clam shell one but it broke so I moved to the newspaper bags. Whoever said the handle was short is correct. Check the length so you can achieve you Super Pooper Scooper Crown.

    I have had a few,

First the plastic clamshell ones, don't bother. Where you are at and with the weather. I went out one day in the snow to pick some up and the plastic was cold and it just broke when I tried to open it. The jaws were froze and when I squeezed to open it, it snapped. I had the same one Annette listed, it was good but the wood handle on the scooper rotted after a year, partially my fault too, I had hit it with the lawn mower and took a bunch of the paint off and probably cracked it. I do keep it outside on the side of the house though to. I have a new ones I do not know the brand but I really like it. Both the scooper and the rake are on aluminum adjustable poles. So I can adjust for my height. I couldn't tell you the name or the brand unfortunately. However I really like it.

I have one similar to Amazon.com : Pik-a-poo Pooper Scooper, 28", with 120 Free Pik-a-poo Bags : Pet Supplies this one. I love it as you attach the bag and then just walk all over the yard scooping and then detach the bag and throw it away. I'm on my second one--the first died (plastic handle) from being out in our hot sun all the time. Now we store it in the garage so it'll last more than 5 years.
