    Snores and more........

Abby has found her way to my wife and my bed a few times. The first time she plopped herself down between us, stretched out and could have cared less if my wife and/or I had any room to sleep. So, we've allowed her to sleep in the bed if... IF she sleeps down at my wife's feet.

Last night, the wife was watching a basketball game on tv and I went to bed early. I'm used to living in hotels and it takes me about 10 seconds to drop into a deep sleep. What a surprise when I awoke about 3 a.m.!!!!

Seems my wife came in to bed and Abby was sound asleep up at my wife's head of the bed. Wife said she tried to roust Abby, but she "pretended" to be as sound asleep as was I. So, the wife simply took her pillow and slept "upside down". I awoke about 3 a.m. with a Labrador Retriever's behind and my wife's feet both in my face... with both of them snoring away!!!!! 50 years ago, I probably wouldn't have griped about where or how my wife slept. At this time in my/our lives.... Abby ain't gonna pull that again!!!!!!

That is really funny!!! My DW gets up about 4am to go to work, the minute her feet hit the floor, Sophie is right there in bed with me. Sophie is the only Lab over the past 31 years allowed to sleep on the bed. I guess as you get older you start to understand their life is so short compared to ours, you make allowences for them that maybe you wouldn't have when you were younger.

That's so sweet! I think it's funny that your wife slept upside down with her feet in your face ha ha.

When we watch a movie and are on the couch Georgia will steal my seat if I get up to go to the bathroom or get a drink. They are opportunists.
    Thanks Everyone!!
