Definitely sending mojo for Gabe. It may be that it takes him a little more time to process out the anesthesia. If you're not satisfied with how he is doing, certainly call the vet.

I had a two year old cat take 48 hours to process the anesthesia. Hopefully, it's just that.

All good thoughts. He's too young for it to be a problem. Definitely find out what they used though and flag it on his chart.

Is he feeling any better? Definately ask what they used so you can let them know next time that he had an odd reaction

Sorry about your Cracker, I hate when significant dates come around

Thanks all, your concerns and Mojo helped about Gabe and myself.

He was running around doing his zoomies and playing with squeakies , so he is back to 100% and I am better in my head.

You all are a wonderful family- many thanks again.

Awesome to hear! Zommies are a good thing. Sometimes it just takes a little time for the anesthesia to wear off. The type of anesthesia can also play a part in recovery. Melody had a couple of procedures which needed an anesthetic and the one time she had a dickens of a time getting rid of it.

When we got back from a long walk last night, he stopped and looked at me and I did the hands out like I am a zoobie and he went crazy. Zoomies around the whole house. I was so thrilled he was back and had so much energy.

I think most of my perception was the fact of Cracker's anniversary on the same day as Gabe's teeth cleaning. I just can't seem to let Cracker go.

I appreciate your comments about Crackers. Sometimes I get wistful thinking of beloved dogs that have gone on ahead.

Pleased to learn Gabe is back to normal and your mind is easier.
