    Nose work games inside

Macy is bored. We are ready for spring. I think Macy would enjoy some nose work. What nose games do you inside?

I hide treats and have Sophie find them. I also take high value toys and hide them and send her to find them. When it comes to feeding time, I will have her go place, then hide her bowl ans send her to find it. We also do fronts and left and right finishes to make her earn her supper. You gotta earn it round here!!

You can google videos for teaching nosework which should help you with some ideas.

I also play 'find it!' (treats) with Stella by putting her into a sit-stay in the laundry room while I hide treats in different spots at different heights.

We're doing obedience work with Charlie, our foster. Working a fair amount on 'Stay' because he has a tendency to barge out the door or gate.

You can order birch odor online, and like it was mentioned above you can google how to teach them to indicate on it, and then hide the odor and have them find it. It is really pretty easy, especially since labs are so food motivated.
