Hope everything went well for Dallas and his new forever home. You are a very special person indeed. To do the work of a shelter, increase your human family and having your dogs at home. And having Dallas just long enough to almost fall in love then (hopefully) giving him his new home.

WOW-what a great person you are. There will be an extra room when you get to Heaven so you can rest for a while from all your work here.

Thank you for the kind words!! Dallas did great and we made sure that every dog that stays at the house was there. Her sisters pit mix and brothers lab puppy visit quite often so we wanted to make sure everyone got along. So far so good!!! We will check back in two weeks unless she calls us sooner. My next project we rescues some dauch jack houndy mixes from a hoarder case. They have not been exposed at all. They will need major rehabilitation. You pick them up they pee and poop all over they are scared to death never been outside. You take them outside and they alligator role and snap at the leash trying to get away. Right now we have then in a horse stable figured it was the safest place. They can't escape if they need to potty they can go on the sawdust and we go in everyday talk to them throw them some high value food and trying to get them to gain our trust. It's quiet in there as well. I need them to trust me enough so I can bring one into my home to continue working with them seperate. Please say a prayer for these babies they are older guessing around 2 so they will need long term rehab before they can be adopted out.

I am so happy for Dallas and hope he has indeed found his loving forever home. It is so sad about the other two pups you have found. You have a good plan not to push them too much too soon or they will completely shut down. letting them have time to decompress and settle into their new environment is the best thing for them right now, will keep the pups in our thoughts and prayers.

I don't know how you do it but thank you! DW and I have agreed we would be foster failures and end up with a house full of critters.
I am a foster failure already, I was supposed to foster my cat Duchess for 2 weeks. 13 years later I still have her!

Sad/happy news Dallas came back to me!!! The one senior dog was having no part of him. I think it was more of them not doing what we told them to do. When I went to observe the behavior everything was calm and i saw nothing to be concerned over. The older senior growled when he walked by but he totally ignored it. They said he became aggressive with her but after much questions i found that it was 3 times and all three was when he was let out of his crate and was super excited. I don't even think it was aggressive I actually think he was trying to play rough with her because he does it with my guys and if you didn't know him well i could see someone thinking he was trying to bite. They gave him way too much freedom he wasn't on a leash so they could correct any unwanted behavior. We told them to pick up all toys, don't let him on the funiture and to make sure he is well exercised a tired dog is a good dog. I walk in hes running around with no leash attached bouncing off the furniture toys everywhere. He just needs a firmer hand so anyway hes back with me to continue his training and hes so calm here. We just came in from 45 mins of play its really hot out so we did early morning and I found that he likes to play in the hose and chase the water which will be a nice cool afternoon activity.

Here is a pic of him sucking up to foster daddy saying please let foster mommy keep me!!!!

We are making progress with the little dauch mixes we seperated them after about a week. The one is more scared then the other we didn't want them feeding off each others energy. We didn't want to tramatize them and do it the first day they came in tho. The one is coming around and actually let us stroke her poor thing just started trembling. The other one doesn't move or make eye contact with you he just avoids in hopes you will go away. He won't take food. I just go in and toss the food talk with him a bit and leave. His little ears twice in my direction so I'm hoping with more time he will start looking at me when I come in.
