Thank you all for your advice! I'm fostering mom and pups through our local shelter. They were actually born in the shelter and came to me at 5 weeks old when I had a foster spot open up. All puppies are spoken for at this time so yes placement for them has been worked on. Mama and pups have all been on a deworming schedule- and I can attest that it is working Pups were vaccinated last week (6 weeks)

I was thinking it was ok to let mama continue to nurse, on her terms, but wanted to make sure. Mama will be spayed before adoption, so I think that is the only "concern" her milk needs to be dried up before they will spay her. No biggie, she will stay here until she's ready. Mama isn't kept with the pups anymore- jumps out of the pen if she is in there with them.

I don't think it's ringworm- we do have expereince with that, but either way she's going to be seen tomorrow at the shelter. Pups nails have been cut, it's the first thing I did when they got here! Her belly/teats do feel generally warm, but no one teat is hard or red or hot.

More pictures?! I can do that =) sweet sleeping babies

You're doing such a wonderful thing! And those pictures are beyond adorable, I'm not surprised to hear that all pups are already spoken for!

Neither can I, but my son is 12 years old now, so I don't see it happening.

    (Adorable puppies, though!)
