    new gunner crate

havent put it completely together yet, as I am debating on assembling it in the back seat of my 4 door pick up vs. bed of pick up. it looks easy to assemble. just wanted to show some pics for size references. the tiles are 18inch, so its about 36 in long. its a big crate, should be perfect for my uses of transporting chili to parks/lakes, etc...

chili is about 34 in long and 85 lbs.

Nice! Would it fit in the back of a Rav4, do you think?

Its pretty big, I dont know if it will fit in my backseat of truck yet due to height. my back seats fold down flat, but add height. when my wife gets home from work I will take some more measurements/see if it fits. fully built together I doubt it will fit into any vehicle with a door/hatch. its only a handful of bolts that hold it together, so doesnt look that hard to take apart/put together...but we will see...I really wanted the smaller version they sell (its $250 cheaper). but when I called them, they said 75lb dog really is its max. gonna buy a door mat or something to put in as floor/less slipping around. it is very well built.

double checked my measurements and its too tall. I forgot about the center overhead dvd/storage console that runs down middle of truck. I might be able to squeeze it in with help(compress seat cushion) otherwise looks like bed of pickup is where it will be.

I would say yes as long as the back seat is down.

Just out of curiosity do they offer a fan attachment for the crate? I lived in NM and I know how hot it can be, so a fan may not be a bad idea.

So it's either Hoku or my son, you're saying.

I should just give up and buy a van.
