    The midnight snack

Two nights ago, DH left some fast food on the coffee table and forgot about it. In the morning, all the wrappers were on the floor, food was all gone, and the ketchup containers had been locked clean. Me thinks someone got hungry and decided to have a midnight snack! It's not the first time a certain yellow Labrador has helped themselves to the easy pickings on the coffee table!! LOL!

Are you sure DH didn't get up and have a midnight snack?

Does that certain yellow lab not share her midnight find with her little wiener friend?

He tends not to throw the evidence on the floor and leave it there!

Well, to be fair, under the official Dog Rules of Living With Humans, food left in the open & abandoned at dog level is fair game.

I had a springer spaniel eat a half box of chocolate covered mints and left the foil wrappers on the floor, don't ask me how he opened them.

We all get hungry at night once in a while. You're so sweet to leave a snack out, all fixed and ready to go.
